Donate
We distribute over 40,000 pounds of food each month to those less fortunate. Every dollar contributed goes directly toward eliminating hunger in our community.
🔴 Current needs
Right now, we're especially short on cereal and soup. If you're doing your own grocery shopping this week, picking up a few extra boxes or cans makes an immediate difference.
Give online
Online donations are processed securely through PayPal. We accept bank cards as well as PayPal, and financial donations are tax deductible — we issue receipts and/or letters for your tax preparation.

Food donations
We're always in need of non-perishable food items. If you or your family are shopping for your own household, consider picking up a little extra for a family in need and dropping it off at 503 N. 13th St., Leesburg, FL 34748, during our Neighbor hours (Mon, Wed, Thu: 8:30–11:30 AM).
Non-food donations
We also distribute clothing and other household items to neighbors as needed. Coats, couches, lamps, and kitchen items are among the things we're always looking for. Please call ahead before dropping off larger items so we can confirm we have room and current need.
More ways to give
We are a state and federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. All financial donations are applied directly to operational expenses (food purchases, electric, phone, garbage, etc.), and every member of our Board of Directors serves as an unpaid volunteer.
Every little bit helps
- $5 provides 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches for a weekend for a student in need (School Backpack Program)
- $10 provides half the cost of a Thanksgiving turkey for a family of 5 (Holiday Feast Program)
- Imagine what a donation of $50 or $100 can do
If you oversee a family trust or a 401(k) / IRA Donor Advised Fund, consider adding the Leesburg Food Bank to your list of preferred organizations.
